    Hey,

I just bought a used BCD 2000 yesterday and I've been pulling my hair out trying to get it to work with Traktor 2. I've imported MIDI mappings for it into Traktor but I don't think it recognizes it. Any advice?

Are the mappings designed for the version of Traktor you have?

Have you selected the correct "In" and "Out" ports for your BCD in the Controller Manager?

    Good luck with that :)

1st thing you need to do if you're running Windows is use a midi translation tool to fix the jogwheels, as behringer never quite got round to doing that lol. I'm still using the Bomes classic template to fix the jogs that Hurda posted in this thread http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73963
Mac users don't have that problem as Behringer never released a Mac driver so a user called Evinyatar made one for the mac that works without having to use any midi translation sw.

Don't think I've seen any mappings for TP2 other than my mapping to use it as an extra controller to load tracks, control FX, timecode control n things like that, kind of like an X1 controller as I've upgraded a few times since I made the mappings I posted in that thread.

Mapping it yourself isn't too hard tho with the learn function if you're methodical about it and plan out before you start. You can still download the manual from the Behrinber site for the LED midi messages, when you want to map the outputs.

As I say, good luck with it. It's not hard to map, it is a bit laborious but it is probably the best way to get the most out of the controller and a great way to learn the capabilities of the software imo.

    Hi Hippie,

I'm having problems installing it in the first place. I put in the CD and installed the Behringer software but it won't let me update the drivers. Do you have any idea whats going on?

I picked up my BCD2000 2nd hand too and didn't even look at the CD tbqh. I just grabbed the latest drivers straight from the Behringer site instead.

I'd download the 1.1.1 driver pack from the Behringer site and uninstall anything you've installed already as it's all gonna be out of date now, before installing the 1.1.1 pack.

I hope you're not running anything newer than XP, the drivers don't like anything newer.

I'm running on Windows 7, that's the problem I guess, do you know if there's any solution?

    XP is my solution :)

I dunno how long that's gonna last tho now XP isn't on the min spec list for TSP anymore :(

BCD2000 isn't supported with win7 drivers, unfortunately... However BCD3000 run just fine.
