BCD-3000 not responding

Hey, this is my first post on here, and I know that it says to refer to my hardware's company for tech support. However, I couldn't find any help from Behringer so I am hoping that someone can work me through a problem on here.

My BCD 300 is connected, and turned on but will not respond through Traktor LE. I Traktor LE works when I control it with my mouse, but I can't figure out why my BCD-3000 suddenly stopped working.

Sorry if this question looks really dumb, but I have been working on this for days to no avail.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

have you treid the setup wizard?
Help -> Start Setup wizard
Select Behringer and BCD3000 LE in the second window

if this does not help, you might have to reinstall the drivers for your bcd and rerun the setup wizard.

 

Which Traktor LE version, which operating system?

kloseline- How can I access the Help menu you are talking about? Sorry if that is a completely dumb question, like I said, I am a newbie :/

mikesilence- I am using Traktor 3 LE, and Windows XP.

Do I need the BCD3000 to show up in the Inputs on the preferences menu? If that is the case, nothing is showing up in the drop-down menus.

Also, it earlier in the day, it did show up under MIDI Interfaces, now it isn't even doing that.

I have put the BCD3000 Installer CD in and reinstalled that, but I haven't gone to a setup wizard (because I can't find it)

i have the same problem!

 

Try change the power settings to ALWAYS ON if you have a laptop. It might solve the problem.

 

How do i do that? sorry i dont understand, i have a laptop but..... i dont know!

 

Start -> Control Panel -> Power Options. You can make your own power settings or you can pick one of the options.

still nothing, the light are coming on the behringher but, when i click play on the computer and on my deck nothing is happening! i dont know what to do? any help?

Have you tried to reinstall the drivers?

Thats the latest driver for the bcd3000

Uninstall the old driver first, the unplug the device. Install the new driver then, plug in the device and follow the windows new hardware wizard.

 

Hi mate quite new myself but have you tried going into settings/audio setup and making your device in the drop down menu "BCD3000"? and then setting up the output bit to output thru your amp?

 

erm... can i just add that i am not using speakers i am using an aux chord through the headphone slot... so wheather this makes a differance or not, any suggestions?

 

I have to set power to the bcd-3000 before starting the traktor LE software. Otherwise the controller doesn't work.

I also work with a Macbook osx leopard. Not all updates work for me. I use version 3.3.0.120 that works great!

 

Ok this is my first post here as I am a new traktor 3 LE user, well sort of. Anyhow, I just purchased a BCD3000 and it came with traktor 3 LE. I was able to install the BCD drivers from the web automatically after plugging in my controller. However when I go to install traktor 3 LE from the disc it will not install.

I understand that traktor 3 LE was originally created for XP but I would have thought there would be updated drives for use on the vista 32bit OS.

I even went and downloaded a free trial version of Traktor le and that doesn't respond at all even when I use my mouse to try to start the music in that software.

If anyone can help me get started with my new gear I would geartly appreciate it. Thanks.
