    Noob time...

I've spent hours trying to get this running, and it literally does nothing. I've installed Traktor as well as the latest drivers for Windows 7.

I can't even get Traktor to recognize that the BCD3000 is connected. After I run the wizard, BCD3000 LE, etc. Audio settings just can't see that the BCD is there, as when I select the BCD3000 ASIO, it says not connected. I've tried the device in multiple USB ports too.

Now windows sees that the BCD is connected, and I can get it to kinda work with Virtual DJ, but Traktor sees nothing.

Lenovo Idea Pad Y570, i7, more than sufficient specs for this.

I see that a lot of people are having issues with the BCD working with their laptops, but I can find much in regards to Windows 7. Help please - I've got a sizable paperweight on my desk and I'm ready to ship it back

    Hi 179,
I have a little experience with the BCD3000 but don't actually have one here to test anymore. I'll try to help but need a little more information.

Is it windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit that you are using?

What version of BCD3000 driver are you using?

Does it show up windows control panel->audio?

If it does, make sure that windows is set to use the internal soundcard of the laptop as its default device and not the BCD3000

Do you any other audio software installed that uses ASIO drivers?

If you do, are you able to set it to use the BCD3000 ASIO or does it show the same problem?

Sorry if this bit seems a bit vague (I'm doing it from my very poor memory)
When i used one on an XP machine it installed a BC3000 control panel where you could set buffers and input output modes etc, does this happen in the Windows 7 version?

The more info you reply with the better

    Wun

Can you try downloading the demo version of Reaper audio software (or any other 64bit music software that uses asio drivers) installing it and selecting the BCD asio driver to see if u get the same error message?
