    Hi there!

I am new to this forum, but i need help regarding the setup of the audio.
I will point to the problem right away... when i connect the bcd3000 to traktor i can connect it throuh "bcd3000 asio" audio driver. It is working well on my pc, but on my laptop the audio breaks so every 4 or 5 seconds slightly.
I did give it more latency but it stais the same. the problem is now.. if i connect it on wdm or asio4all the sound is clean and without interuptions. BUT MY HEADPHONES OUTPUT does not respond to cue settings.. it just plays like an output all the time both channels.

So i was thinking maybe it is because the soundcard does not support asio.. but like i said i tryed with asio4all.

please if anyone has some advice i would be glad!

    Thanks ahead!

Make some tunings for your laptop... WLAN off, Antivir off, Firewall off, disable ACPI conform control method battery in the device manager.

    hi mike!

Many thanks for you advice! :) but the same thing happens with two seperate laptops. one has a dual core proce. and 3 gb of ram. lol more than my pc where everithing works fine. But dunno.. in my pc i have an audigy soundcard.. mybe the problem is really with the integrated sound card wich does not support ASIO.

And the only way to connect the bcd3000 is through behringer ASIO driver. then i can use both the master output and the master in headphones.

dunno, probably performing with a kontroler on laptop needs a better external soundprocesor, like audio 4 DJ? But this is kind of too expensive for now..

i see you have a macbook.. do you have your bcd3000 directly connectred or with some external audio proccesor.. (audio 4 dj/8 dj)?

    I appreciate your help!

    speak soon

I have it directly connected if I use it. Works flawlessly. The BCD supports ASIO without any problems, thats what the driver is for. ;) Did you install the latest driver? 1.2.0.0?

Thanks again for super fast reply! You are right, the sound is not connected through the sound card so it does not matter... maybe it is the USB!

I have the latest driver installed, i will try to reinstall it! Any other suggestions? I really dont see the way now. Cause if it is not the sound card i have no idea what to do. ?

    hi Mike!

Well here i am, nothing new.. saturday i had to take my whole pc to a bparty, cause with laptop didnt work. All was well. But i would rather do this with a "fancy" laptop!

i did try to turn off everithing except "disable ACPI conform control method battery in the device manager" Didnt found it!

But funny is that my laptop is a HP, 2.5 ghz dualcore amd, 3gb ram, 250gb hd etc... quite good if you ask me. AND the PC is 2 Ghz dualcore, 2 GB ram.. so, kinda slower! ;)

I have updated traktor, installed the latest driver did most of your optimizations.. and nothing is better.

I know few thing about computers but i am not a geek. But anyways.. the sound card it is not.. and i doubt it is also the specification of the laptop itself. I even tried on my brothers laptop with vista installed and the same thing happened, of course had installed vista drivers for bcd3000. This is so frustrating! I bought a laptop for music mostly, and now i cant use it! :/

I have just bad luck i guess! But thanks for your help! I appreciate it!
Let me know if you have any solutions!

    Thanks again!

If you wanna use it for music get back to XP. :D To disable the ACPI go into the device manager...

I use Traktor Scratch Pro with the BCD 3000, vista 32 bit, on a 2.5 Ghz 4GB ram laptop. I've had a lot of problems with it, but here are some things that might help:

1.) for some reason, use the same usb port when running traktor that you did when installing the BCD 3000 driver. I've heard from another source that this matters and i seem to recall it helped once for me.

2.) reinstall the driver. either download the most recent vista compatible driver from behringer's website or use the one from the disk you got with the BCD 3000. right click it before running and switch compatibility mode to windows XP SP2.

also, i learned that the BCD is incompatible with 64 bit vista, but who knows... they said the XP driver wouldn't work with any vista but i got it to work on mine.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks i will try also that... but reinstalling the driver i already did.. it is so strange, i had no problems on my PC with it. Only laptops... ? :S thanks for the advice to you guys! I even tried on vista too... with behringer vista driver. yes they did a driver for vista 32bit.. but this was a laptop from my friend... on my laptop i use xp!

I guess i should make a clean format and try again with the installation... but right now no time for that... :S

Will let you know when i solved the problem... i was even considering buying a new lap top. I just know now that the OS is not bad, the audio card is not bad, the specification is not bad, it should be either a setting with usb ports or a.

    ONE QUESTION FOR YOU SQUEEKZ....

You use Traktor with the audio 8 DJ device or directly with the laptop?

    thanks m8!

just the laptop. what is the audio 8 DJ device for? I don't really see why you would need 8 outputs and 8 inputs

Well i agree.. it is useful when you use it with control vinyls though! :) I asked, because i guess it would had an affect on the glitches.

    Your information was useful, thanks!

    @ dan.dckr

well yeah... i should make a complete format i guess... by usual daw optimization you mean the steps mikesilence was suggesting? Can you point the things out please!

    thanks m8!

    Holy moly!

So at least i had enough money to buy me a new laptop! So i bought a HP 6730s, and i had luck or what? Installed a fresh copy of xp, turned off (in bios) bluetooth, modem, wireless! Only installed traktor, and it works like a charm! :)

Later i installed office 2007, nokia pc suite, codecs for movies, acrobat reader 8, winrar... AND it still works great! I am sooo happy now!

But then again, i still dont know the real problem behind it, like i said i used treaktor with no problems on my PC, with alot of different stuff on it and i mean alot of!

But thank you guys for useful advices! I appreciate it big time!

    cheers!

Audio should be to BCD 3000 ASIO... then check Audio Ouput configuration... there you have main mix 1and2.. monitor should be to 3and4! Try this!
