    Hi there,

    I have a BCD3000 with T3 LE.

When i install the drivers, it asks me to switch on the BCD3000 and wait until windows has finished installing the driver.
Then i click continue when it has finished.
    all seems well.

Then a popup from windows comes up and says it's looking for the driver software, eventually it cant find it, and asks me wether i should ignore it, or search the internet for a driver, or search my pc for it.
Neither of the above work, and T3 LE is unresponsive.

Then i try installing the drivers again without turning my bcd3000 off, and it installs a bunch of files, and constantly asks me if im sure i want to install them, as they are uncertified.

All is well, however T3 LE is still unresponsive.

I've been using it fine for a few months, but i seem to get this issue everytime i disconnect the BCD3000, and i have to reinstall the drivers again, which usually works, but sometimes doesnt, and i dont know why.

I'm using windows vista, and the vista drivers.

    Thanks in advance.

Did you change the USB port after the first installation?

You mean after the 1st ever install that i did like months ago? (when i 1st got it)
or the one that i just did?

I install the drivers, and dont touch the usb at all.
However, i have changed it since i installed it the VERY 1st time, as im moving my pc around a lot.

thats the problem... Thank Vista. Driver architecture in Vista gives each port a different name which was not in XP. So the BCD will work properly on the port you first installed it.

    still cant get it working.

I swapped the connection and tried all usb ports but it still doesnt pick it up.

    However,
In preferences>Midi Setup, the BCD3000 is in the list, but if i remember correctly, shouldnt there be a X sign next to it, meaning that it is the active midi controller?

The T3 demo, lets me double click it, and the X appears, however it still doesnt respond.

any help would be appreciated thanks

How exactly is the BCD3000 called as Midi Port? BCD3000 or 1-BCD3000/2-BCD3000/...?
