bcd3000 - macbook - sound degradation after 20-30 mins

Hey, license type: full, OS X: 10.5.5
I got home from work today browsed the net for a little while then fired up the system and no master sound! it's really weird, there seems to be no pattern (but im sure there must be) it appears to be happening randomly. i have tried different RCA cords, but no luck. is there anything else I should be doing to the BCD3000 or my mac or traktor before getting started? thanks so much for your help so far.

 

Maybe your unit is faulty... but no problem, Behringer makes a swap for defective units. Just go to your dealer.

 

i have the same degredation problems, i have followed the instruction as shown on this thread and it helped a little as it now lasts a little longer before things go awry. i don't think it is the bcd3000 or the macbook as if you i use itunes to play via the bcd it runs fine all night.

any ideas?

it looks as if i am going to have to ditch traktor then. shame that.

 

What you also can do is just use one of the 2 BCD3000 soundcards which is also shown when choosing the driver. One stands for the inputs, one for the outputs. If you only want to playback MP3 choose the one for the outputs only, then you will not have the sound degredation.

i should say though, that i'm not using any external inputs - thus just selected one of the BCD3000 soundcards [not aggregated]...i hope it will still work when i do have them in...

well, here's one for the experts...

i followed the instructions from everyone and it was all working in perfect harmony for 3 or so hours...

until...

i tried again the following day and the same crackling and popping sounds came back and eventually no sound was coming out at all. I've tried re-installing Traktor, restarting the computer multiple times, quadruple-checked all the device set-ups, tried using just the BCD3000 (not aggregated), etc.

Additional info.: MacBook Pro, no external inputs [just currently mixing mp3s]

Any help would be welcomed with open arms!... this issue is seriously doing my block in, and i'm not exactly keen on trying to contact Berhinger.

 

Did you have WLan activated the second day? Antyhing else running in background?

 

ok , i tried these settings and they worked well, however i noticed that when u turn off the bcd3000 the settings change and they return to the regular settings. every time u start djing u have to reset these settings manually

just something i thought maybe some ppl were overlooking

 

No sound bcd 3000

i also have the same problem with no sound through the bcd and traktor 3 le
i have followed instructions from previous post with no success my set up as follows
Audio midi settings ( Mac )
default input: Built in Input
Default output: BCD3000 aggregated
System output: Built in output

Traktor 3 le set up
audio setup: sound card : audio device BCD 3000 aggregated
output routing: monitor left mono 3 bcd 3000 aggregated
Right mono 4 bcd 3000 aggregated
Master:left 1 bcd 3000 aggregated
Right 2 bcd 3000 aggregated

i can get sound from my i tunes to my amp and speakers but i just can not get the sound to play through traktor , and i can not get the bcd to control the music through traktor (eg; cueing music etc ) i did have it all working when i first got it but after i turned it off it just stopped working, any help would be great i know i am really close to get it working i must be just missing one thing

Did you update to the latest version of Traktor LE? -> 3.3.2.010 and later...

 

running version 3.1.3.020
