    Hi guys -

New here. This is probably more a BCD3000 question, I will hit their forum as well.
Running Windows 7 (x64) and Tractor Pro v1.1

Haven't used the controller or traktor for a year or two, and I'm trying to get it up and running now.

I installed the BCD3000 driver (1.2 Vista) without a hitch. Wound up only seeing 2 channels in Traktor. Fixed with aiso4all, so now I'm seeing 4 (working) channels.

The problem now is that I'm not seeing a midi IN for the 3000. I see a midi out, but no in. I remember having problems like this before with XP and Traktor 3, a couple years ago, and needed to run some command line script that manually configured midi devices. Basically I think the midi driver is missing (not a tsi or tki thing). Anyone know the script/plugin/exe I'm referring to?

I think it's a fairly simple issue, but can't find anything referencing this particular problem ANYWHERE.

Also, the BCD3000 config program is missing, but sort of a non-issue because it was basically worthless except for button behavior.

I realize Win 7/Vista (particularly x64) is not the optimal OS, but it's beside the point if I can get it working.

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks for the Help!

Its very simple, Windows 7 is not supported for the BCD3000, especially the 64-bit version.

I'm on Windows 7 too but 32-bit version and I don't have any problem at all with BCD3000.

Officially, I realize that, but I've heard success stories. Referring to my post, I had this same issue with XP 32bit, and got it working with a midi script which I can't remember anything about or find. As a sound card and midi out it's working fine (as it is supported by vista, which is the same driver architecture as 7), so it's just the midi in issue. I think anyone with the same problem in any OS may have a clue as to what I'm talking about?

    Got it working

Needed (for whatever reason) a virtual midi (loopBe1, maple is not x64 capable yet) cable and a script to get it working.

So win 7 x64 is possible, though a pain in the butt.

    having frustrating audio dropout problems

hey everyone ive just signed up to the forums but have been reading them for a few months attempting all suggestions that have been posted to try and fix my problem.

    ok so...

just recently bought a new laptop
    DELL STUDIO 1737
    4GB RAM
    640GB HARD DRVIE (2X320GB)
    RUNNING WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE 32-bit
2.53 GHZ CORE 2 DUO INTEL PROCESSOR

ive got a bcd3000 and im running off traktor pro 1.1
the vista bcd3000 driver (1.2.0.0) works fine in terms of midi functionality but when i comes to the sound(the bcd3000 ASIO driver)...which i have connected via the master output on the bcd...traktor gives me those split second audio dropouts every say 30 odd seconds.

ive tried to do DAW optimizations within the device manager such as disabling the cd drive, all unused usb ports, the battery (so i would be running the laptop straight off the AC adapter), disabling wifi and bluetooth and disabling firewall yet the dropouts continue.

ive even tried setting the virtual memory higher (up to 6500MB, and the max is 7000MB) yet still the same story

im running out of things to try

funny thing is my brother has the exact same laptop but slightly different specs and his works absolutely fine!:
    DELL STUDIO 1737
    500GB HARD DRIVE
    4GB OF RAM
2.0GHZ CORE 2 DUO INTEL PROCESSOR
    RUNNING WINDOWS VISTA HOME BASIC

i was encountering the exact same problems when windows vista home basic was on my laptop previously...the dropouts...so obviously its not the difference between win vista and win 7 thats my problem

i even tried reinstalling vista and installing it to only one of my hard drvies (without the recovery drive being partitoned) thinking that it may fix the problem but still had the droputs

the settings in traktor and in the bcd3000 control panel on both laptops are exactly the same but my laptop is still giving me dropouts...the bcd3000 ASIO driver is being used just to clarify

traktor pro is even being run in compatibility mode for windows xp service pack 3 but ive still got the problem

the million dollar question for me is how the hell does it work on my brother's laptop and not mine?

and adding to that how the hell can i fix these stupid audio dropouts

my only suggestion as to why im recieving these dropouts is that th hardware on my laptop is 'too good' for the hardware on the bcd3000

(just for info...when the droputs do occur, the blue audio light on the top of the screen in the traktor window (near the CPU activity bar etc) stays blue...it doesnt turn red like other problems ive read about on these forums

as a 17 year old mobile dj...i need answers

its frustrating as all hell but im faithful lol

    im running out of options

any help whatsoever would be extremely appreciated:D

and dont let the fact that im 17 convince u to think that i may not know much about computers...so if theres any technical suggesstions, id greatly appreciate the help

in this situation, the person who resolves my problem, i would consider u to be a good samaritan:D haha

please if anyone knows how i can fix this, a response would be greatly appreciated

    cheers

By the way... the BCD does only work under W7 64-bit audiowise with ASIO4ALL. Midiwise it seems to need a special driver which is integrated in the 32-bit driver of Behringer which does not run on 64-bit, so no chance to get it working midi-wise under 64-bit.
