    Hey guys,

I recently bought the BCD3000 and it came with Traktor 3 LE. Overall, the installation went well and it is definitely usable and I am having a lot of fun with it!

I am just trying to get the lights to work on the BCD3000 but it doesn't work 100% on either Standard or Advanced mode. I have seen a few people complain about this, but I have not yet met a solution.

Basically, when in Advanced mode in the control panel for the BCD3000, say I am using the Play button, the light will turn on, the song will start to play, but once I press it again, the light will go off but the song will keep playing. The Cue button is similar and it will light up, but when I let go, the song will continue to play and the light will stay on.

Is there no easy fix to this? I would love the lights to work! Thanks in advance!

Please read the manual... and use the BCD in Standard mode.

I've looked through the manual so many times, but I can't find any information about my specific problem. Care to point out where I can find the solution?

So are you saying the lights and set cue button should be working even in standard mode?

A little elaboration would be great...

They will work properly in standard mode... in advanced mode not. The tks was made for standard mode. Got it now? ;)

Thanks Mike! Just wanted to make sure that those things should be working and that I'm not working for nothing...

I'll probably be doing a fresh install of Windows XP so once that is done, it will be onto fixing up the computer DJ!

    Hello everybody

I have exactly the same problem! After updating Traktor 3 LE from version 3.1.x (was delivered with bcd 3000) to version 3.3.x the led-lights on the bcd 3000 don't work anymore.

and, yes of course I know the differences between bcd 3000 advanced and standard mode -> I'm using standard mode!

Is there already a solution for this issue?

What about using the tks for the BCD which is in the Traktor 3 folder within your own documents folder? Does this work?

Sorry, but this won't work because you can't load any tks files with Traktor 3 LE. As far as I know, this is only supported in the full version of Traktor.

Anyway, after installing the Traktor 3.3.x LE update, I had to choose from a list which MIDI-Controller I'm using. In this list I selected the BCD 3000 and everything worked fine except those stupid LED lights!

    A little update from me.

I decided to just reinstall the whole thing so I uninstalled the drivers and Traktor software off my computer. I followed the instructions in the manual and proceeded with installation.

After the installation of Traktor LE, I started it up. But it gives me an error saying something about a memory exception and something is unable to be read. Then my computer proceeds to crash, giving the "Blue Screen of Death" as it does.

That was the first time I've ever seen the Blue Screen on my new laptop so it kinda freaked me out, but it looks like something is seriously conflicting with the software as it does it even after reinstalling it again.

I haven't done the 3.3 update (I just forgot about that) so I'll try that as soon as I have some time...but does anyone have any advice for this?

    Another update:

Went through with the two updates and now the machine works flawlessly! I honestly don't know what the root cause of the lights and set cue not working, but it works now.

My computer is an Asus F9DC laptop with an AMD X2 Turion (1.8ghz) dual core processor if anyone is wondering. I did use the processor drivers and dual-core optimizer from the AMD website and maybe that did something as well...not really sure. But I guess my point is that it works with those installed as well.

    Hurray for lights!

About what version are you talking? 3.1.x or 3.3.x?

    Found a fix by accident

    Hi there,

I had the same problem after upgrading to Traktor 3 full from LE.

I have emailed Behringer support but they are pretty useless thus far.

Tonight I was messing around and think I have sorted the issue... for me anyway.. hope it works for you!

Click on PREFERENCES and select MIDI INTERFACES

Double click in the ACTIVE BOX for BCD3000 in the MIDI - an X will appear to indicate this is selected.

    Click on APPLY then OK.

I then pressed play and HEY PRESTO the LED lit up. Tried it for all other functions and they also work fine.

By the way I am using version SSE3 and the TKS file as advised in the traktor 3 configuration PDF on the Behringer support site.

    i hope this helps!

I updated from what was on the CD (I think 3.0) to the first update, 3.1. It worked then.

I then took the risk and update to 3.3. It worked there too!

I see, I've updated my Traktor LE directly from what was on the CD to version 3.3.x.
    Maybe this was the mistake

    YESSSSS, it finally works now!

    the solution was:
uninstall Traktor, install Traktor which was shipped with BCD 3000, download the updates, install update to version 3.3.0, install update to version 3.3.1, reboot

Yea, I did the exact same thing the first time. I updated straight to 3.3.x without first updating to 3.1.x.

Glad it worked for you! I think this is a surefire way of getting the LED's to work now.
