Yep! You can even download them now before you get the unit by logging onto the NI site, Support, Personal Update Manager and the file is there along with other Traktor certified products...

I just read a review of this unit that made me think it might work best as a dedicated MIDI controller using another audio interface (certainly bears out my experience of Behringer audio). Is it possible to use the MIDI without the audio (I'd think so).

Also, is there a shift capability that will allow control of decks C & D?

I was really thinking about purchasing one of these. I've been wanting a back-up soundcard. I've also been wanting better control of decks C & D. My set up would be Hercules set as soundcard controlling A&B and BCD300 controlling C&D. My vision that if my soundcard/controller (hercules) died in the middle of a set. I could reboot load a preset tks for the bcd3000 also choose it as my soundcard and continue the night with just decks A&B .
Just wondering if that was possible?

sure wish that vci had a soundcard.

I would imagine so, I have the 2000 just working in MIDI, I've tried it once in audio, had a deck connected also and it just didn't do it for me, sound loss got even when playing a record through it, so I always us the 410 for audio.

Does anyone here know of a MIDI command reference for the BCD3000? I haven't been able to find anything like it so far, not even on the Behringer site :(

Anyone out there got one of these yet? This is very tempting!

I've seen videos where the BCD3000 gets mentioned it works with traktor out of the box. I'm interested how it interacts with traktor does it come with USB-MIDI software that runs along side traktor? Is it stable?

Got that link to a review of the BCD3000 boysteve? Googling it is a joke bloody price finding sites

I think the review was either in the last MUSIC TECH or REMIX.

    Hope this helps

This isn't an official tks file or anything but it is one that I made myself and it works perfectly. I made the rotary things a little bit more sensetive as well.

Took my bloody hours as well so hope you all appreciate it! Haha

Yo Im a newbein so go ezy on a brotha.

I have Put the BCD300 on Layby waitin to come in the shop.
Ive never used software based djin tools always just mucked around on me mates turnies.

Im very hip hop based so I would have liked to go with some technics and serarto but we all know how much that cost.

SO im goin with the BCD3000 boxed with Traktor 3 LE $330 AUST.

Bear in mind i havnt got this yet and have never used traktor.

    What is a tks file?

Is it a midi file that sinks up the controller to the software or is it a playlist. Is it a save file?

Im realy tryin to do some home work befor i start workin with this tool.

It's a dedicated file that contains your MIDI and Hot Key assignments. Traktor comes with a stock TKS file and you can modify it or save any number of different ones and call them up.
