    Hi,

First time poster, I've been using Traktor DJ on my iPad for a few years on and off, I'm not a DJ but throw the occasional party, I've got a halloween party coming up so I've spent some time transferring songs via iTunes and adding hot cues/loops etc in preparation.

However, I'm seeing a lot of beat sync/matching issues, I'll load and track and the sync will be out at the beginning of the track and then say 30 seconds+ into the track things seem to match then drift again as I work through the track.

Is there a way to correct this or manually set the BPM?

Unfortunately Traktor DJ doesn't seem to do the best job keeping a consistent beatgrid going. I'm curious to what kind of music you're playing. I often spin old funk/R&B on Traktor Pro with my turntables and these older songs need constant correction (speeding up and slowing down) when matching up on other songs (Not everyone recorded to a metronome back in the day). I find these tracks very difficult to sync using the basic touch screen/nudge controls of Traktor DJ (Another argument for bringing DVS to iPad) and re-syncing doesn't seem to work the way it does in Traktor Pro.

    Hi,

These are modern dance tracks, so all will have been created using drum machines etc so I'm just baffled as to why the beat doesn't sync up, it's as if Traktor DJ is either a few BPM out either faster or slower, so if there's a manual way to adjust the BPM/grid I would think this should fix it.

I never have any of these issues with any tracks of a consistent BPM. In fact, TDJ analysis seem to still be the gold standard for this.

I have issues with some tracks where the grid will not lock on the beat, I can drag it to there, but when I release - it snaps back to another position. For tracks which are properly gridded, I don't have any issues.
