I have a DDJ-T1 with the version of tractor it came with, i think it's the ME edition. I've never bothered with beat grid ding for house, techno etc, however for breakbeat and drum and bass i thin i'm gonna have to beat grid tracks. Trouble is i have no idea how to do it or where even to find a menu or anything. I've had a look at you tube and some tutorial but it seems a lot of the tutorials are for tractor pro and the screen looks very different to mine. I am gonna upgrade but not yet as i have a 2 grand financial burden from the purchase of a Mac and the DDj-T1. Can anyone point me in the direction of how to beat grid on this version? Is it even possible?

Er it's 79 Euro's is it not? I know i've gotta upgrade but not for another month. On a separate issue is it possible to map the cue button so it acts as a tap button for tempo?

No, the price of an upgrade has been deeply discounted as of late.

    DJKilla is correct.

I believe Traktor 2.5 will be released sometime in May. I would assume the price will go back to normal when that happens. However, the current Traktor upgrade includes a free upgrade to 2.5 when released.

Basically, you are better off updating now.

As for your question, yes, anything can be remapped as far as I know.

Man, i'm so confused about this mapping stuff. Firstly i can't find what i'm after and secondly if i do find what i'm looking for do i need to cut and past the computer code somewhere?
