Beat gridding question?

    Hi
    Is it possible to lock grids in certain points of the track? When I begin to grid from start and scan through various parts of the track sometimes tightening in the middle somewhere, but when doing this when I return to the start of the track the grids have moved slightly.. Is there any way of solving this?

    First off ensure for the most part the tempo is correct. If it is, then you're better off just placing a new grid point at that middle part where the drifting occurs, rather than continuously adjusting and finding the first part mucked up. When mixing, only the beginning and end really matter anyway as that's where one would really be watching the phase/tempo.
