    Hello,
I just bought Traktor Pro yesterday and was wondering about beat grids/synching etc. When using four decks I would have to use the beat mapping facility as I wouldnt be able to keep four decks in time manually. So I just need to clear things in my head before I start so I hope you guys can point me in the right direction :)

Basically If I had 2 decks playing and hit the beat synch button this will not guarantee the traks stay in beat as the beat grids have not been done on both tracks. Is that correct?

So to keep the tracks perfectly in beat I have to firstly do the beat grids on both and then hit the beat synch button?

Sorry guys, this is all new to me so any help appreciated :)

    in one word: Yes

To keep tracks in sync, you need to have them Beatgridded (ALL of them :))
