Beat Loop Randomiser

I want to make some of the beat looper's controls randomize at the start of every bar in time with the clock.

Is there an easy way to do this or do i have to use a sequencer ?

You just need to send the song position to a logic statement, that determines when a new bar has been reached and then randomizes the start time and triggers the beat looper. You shouldn't need any sequencer to do that. Again, if I wasn't in X, I'd whip up a patch for you. Bah.

 

A quick way to do it: take a song pos module, run it through a modulo, where B = 96, div will now output an event at the beginning of each bar; attach the div out to a value module's in, with 'val' being a fixed value, e.g. 0 in case you want to randomize round zero, or perhaps 60 for random pitch (the value module will output this fixed value each time an event is received, i.e. at the beginning of a bar). Send the value out to a randomizer module, if e.g. val = 60 and rng = 12, the randomizer will output a value for each bar, within the range of 60 +/-12. Haven't got Reaktor here with me, but this should work. If you notice too many random values are being output, you might need to add an event merge between modulo and value modules.
