Beat phase mapping issue w/Traktor & MaschineMK2

Hi all,

I am attempting a midi mapping for my maschine mk2 with traktor pro 3.

I have 4 decks - A/B/C/D assigned to the groups, and the 16 pads per group/deck.
8 of those pads are for hot cues. however i have an issue with assigning beatphase OUT to the 8 pads per deck.

For pads 1-8, i have 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, & 32 'loop size select + set' assigned as IN. i want each of these pads to light up with beat phase (in time to grid) IF it is toggled on (loop for the relevant length becomes active).

However the issue is that all 8 pads light up at once with beatphase immediately - i cant seem to figure out to only have beatphase light up the pad once it is triggered/active.
The modifier option 'Is Active Loop' doesnt make a difference, as of course once i trigger any of the loop lengths, the loop is indeed active in all circumstances, so all pads flash at once.

can someone help?
