I downloaded the bible and I'm following the steps to set the fist beatmarker. I get as far as clicking on the first beat where I would like to set it and then, the directions tell me to click the auto grid button. I'm assuming this is the button while grid is selected that says auto? If so, its not setting to my new marker. Everything stays in the original position. I'm sure its something dumb and easy that I'm missing so, sorry for my ignorance in advance. Any help is appreciated..

Nevermind.. I think I've got it right. I was just under the impression that the small gap of dead air at the beginning of the track would be removed as well. Just have to bump it ahead to the first marker to start the track. Does this sound right?

    Yeah that sounds right.
Cue up the track to the first beatmarker or kick-drum by dragging the track and then pressing Cue. The track should now play on the first down-beat.

Drop the Grid marker there. If the BPM analysis is correct you will have a perfect Grid.
If the Grid doesnt align with further beatmarkers then the BPM is off.

You can then follow the tutorial to achieve the correct BPM and get the grid super tight.

When you say "downloaded the Bible" im assuming you mean just the 'Beat Gridding Tutorial" ?

Where can I get this beatgridding tutorial? I checked your link karlos but just takes me to the bible page. I'm going to assume once I buy the bible I'll be able to download the beatgrid tut?

    Thanks

Yeah, sorry, I meant the tutorial. Pretty easy to do. About 90% of my tracks were correct from the auto grid. The tutorial is very helpful. Thanks! :)
