    Hey everyone,

Seeing a lot of chatter and requests in here for iMaschine. Speaking from experience... just go buy Beatmaker 3.

    https://www.youtube.com/user/IntuaTeam

Save yourself the headache of not being able to do what you want outside of your studio.

    You're welcome.

Honestly speaking, I stopped using Machine (yes, Maschine) in favour of BM3. But that's just me.

But, If you are asking more from iMaschine, don't. Just make the switch. You'll be happy that you did.

Well the true request is make iMaschine like BM3 or almost Maschine mk3 full class compliant.
Another option is release something for iOS users in mind (mikro mk3?) like Z1 was.

Keeping Maschine hardware only x86 compatible make iOS users look elsewhere, almost Z1 works with Traktor iOS app...

Even to open the app to let ANY controller work is a step in the right direction.

I like beatmaker 3, but then I just didn't like the workflow after a while. I like my maschine mk3, and komplete kontrol mk2 better. When I travel I prefer the mk3 and kk s25 with my laptop and all my VST's in NKS format with the sound previews. Its just faster for me. I do use it from time to time, but the workflow can't touch maschine. I think it has great features with a terrible workflow. Just my 2.

I’m agree on workflow since I never was a mpc head (more electribe, sp555 user) but the thing is potential users.
I use mainly the Blocswave/Launchpad apps combo and I’m doing more beatsin a weekend than in years with Ableton (another weird workflow). All from the couch...
I really don’t care about Maschine since I need control over pitch realtime (padkontrol, nanopad, padone, etc... and even the Toraiz have some kind of touchstrip/xy pad) for melodize chops. I just give my opinion since technically is possible and if NI considered the line in its strategy maybe could bring more revenue for them.
The lack of makes me agree with those who say “NI doesn’t gives a f@@k about nothing but hardware once sold”

    Shame.

Loving korg gadget for ios atm. Some great sounds built in.

I have even sampled it into my mk3 from the iPad lol.

I like to use my iPad to gather samples from my pool and create kits which I can use later in the studio, which is better for this iMaschine 2 or Beatmaker ?

I have both and go back to Imaschine because it's simple. Beatmaker 3's workflow is to cluttered. Has great features, but the workflow is terrible.

All NI needs to do is add 1/64 for drum rolls, a soft-synth that we can tweak the params on and a piano roll. Not sure what their issue is with not advancing iMaschine. I WANT to stay with one platform and I like being able to take my sketches and put it on MK3 but the app is just not dynamic enough anymore. That's why folks are largely talking about BM3 IMHO (which I have BTW)

In the lasted versions of iOS and MacOS, you can use apps like BM3 to send midi from iPad to Mac over lightning cable. It’s very useful for noterepeat, chord, and arps. Simply plug the ipad to computer, open audio midi utility, and click ‘enable’ under the ipad device shown.

Frankly I thought BM3 would be the answer to all my dreams, but it's workflow is so awkward and cumbersome and crashes so much that I've resolved to just using it as a fun sampler/mangler, sorta the other side of Samplr. On the other hand, giving up on BM3 is what eventually lead me to getting my KK mk2 just last week, so... thanks BM3!

it jams up on me a lot when I try to bring in other apps, especially iSEM

is there a way to truncate wavs? if so I must have missed it. plus it needs bpm detection

maschine spoiled me, it’s really tough going without these simple features

Now its been a while since BM3 got released. Are you guys happy with the app? How is it compared to iMaschine 2, iMPC Pro 2 and Beathawk ?

It’s better than any of these but not an ableton substitute.

It will become an Ableton substitute once 3rd party plugin stability increases and track freeze arrives. I haven't used it in months, but I want to. My primary issue is audio unit crashes.
