It would be great if the beatmasher could loop 8 beats in addition it everything else it does. That way I could use it like I use the Roll on the DJM700/800. As of right now it only does 4 beats at the most.

Maybe this is something they give us as TPro 1.2's "Beat Slicer" FX?

Is there a list of what new FX are being added to 1.2?

What is wrong with just playing the whole loop and just changing the lenght of a loop with a hotkey? Or am I misunderstanding you?

With the beatmasher/roll I can sample in-time then load a different track into the deck and essentially play 3 tracks (2 normal tracks and 1 with just a 2 bar loop) using only 2 decks. Right now I can only sample a 1 bar loop (4/1).

Can't you do this much simpler by just using the 4 deck version of TSP?

Correct, however most of the venues I play at do not allow for 3 decks for various reasons (2 deck mixer, no space, only 2 TTs in the booth etc.) Plus for the most part it is overkill to have 3 full decks when 2 decks + a sampler would suffice as I don't need to manipulate this 3rd deck. Thus the best option (at least for how I work) would be to align Traktor effects with those of the DJM-700/800 so that if I am playing on a non-Pioneer mixer I can still maintain my style.
