Is the beatport sync player still available for download? I was browsing the NI site, and found under "support/all downloads/demo versions", the Traktor Beatport sync player. It was the manner i discovered the world of traktor , many, many years ago,(4 or so =)) and i want it back. BTW, the download link i just specified is dead. Is this a site issue, or is TBS no longer supported/available for dowload?

I use it to listen and organize my non djing music, since it's based on Traktor 3 it has the same sound engine therefore sounds a lot better than all the crappy sounding players out there.

I guess is not supported anymore, there used to be a link also on Beatport site for it but I coudn't find it so it seems both companys have decided to discontinue the software, it's a pity they didn't keep developing and updating such a good player.

But you are lucky cause don't ask me why but I imagined this could happen and kept a copy in a safe place all this years and since it's a free program I don't think there's any problem with me sharing it here: [Nada - Sorry]

i haven't received any PM's. And i couldn't think about ONE single reason this was taken away. If it is no longer supported, thats our problem. I just want to have it back, even if this is full of viruses and malware. Again, that's my problem, not NI's. Is it illegal to down it from other sources? IMO something like this is freeware FOR LIVE. Thanks for quick reply, anyway. =)

Freeware does not equal freely distributable. NI still has the copyright on TBS, and therefore links to NI software to anything but an NI site are against forum policy.

And, IMO, and wiki's, freeware means that something is free. I'm of opinion that if you make something freeware, (BTW as a promo stunt) and then stop supporting it, is something else then saying that nobody can down it anymore. BTW, why else is the link still there? please remove it, and make clear that it is no longer for down anymore. No longer supported doesn't equal no longer for download available..
