I use Beatslicer as my main effect, but after a while, the effect suddenly becomes off-sync when ever I use it, and because of this the effect becomes useless. This problem has happened numerous times, and I feel like I might be missing something. The only way that I've been able to fix it is by completely restarting Traktor, and that's not really a good thing if I'm DJing. I've tried resetting FX 1 (which is where I use Beatslicer), but it doesn't work. When I change FX 1 from Beatslicer to a different effect though, I don't hear any lag, but when I come back to Beatslicer the problem persists. Has anyone had this problem?

    Thanks so much!

(Sidenote: I use an S2 with Traktor Pro, but I'm fairly certain this isn't the problem.)

Are you fully deactivating the Beatslicer after each use? And are your track grids accurate?

If by fully deactivated you mean turning FX 1 on and off, yes, after every beatslice I turn it off. And my beatgrids are accurate. It's not a matter of the song itself. I could be beatslicing one song one moment, then if I replay it later on in a set, the beatslicer is offbeat. I always reset my BPM, and I double checked my beatgrids and all and made sure the BPMs were correct and they were. And once the beatslicer is off, it doesn't matter what song I'm playing- it's off-sync.

I mean turning the specific effect off, not just FX bank 1. The timing of many effects is based on when you turn the effect button on.

I've started getting this (or a similar issue) about a week ago with 2.6.1 on a Windows 8 laptop and a Windows 7 PC, on another Windows 7 PC I dont get the issue though. Before that beatslicer worked fine on 2.6.1 on all PCs.

Can't work out what it is, I always put D/W on 100%, Buzz on 0 and Style and Pat on 2 each to start with, but it drifts out of sync after the first 4 bars.

On all 3 installs of Traktor 2.6.1 Snap and Quant are on too. Clock is on Auto and not using Sync.

AFAIK when you turn it on it grabs the next 4 bars and loops them, it seems to be able to do this twice and then grabs a different loop a couple of bars along, even if you turn down Style and Pat to 1. This is enough to screw up the mix so I stopped using it on the two PCs that are effected.

    Any feedback on this appreciated!

Make sure Sync is on for both tracks. I guess Traktor gets confused about which tempo to sync with Beatslicer (no matter which track is Master), so Beatslicer gets out of sync. This fixed my problem and I hope it fixes yours!

Thats strange, I never use Sync and it only started effecting two machines recently. Good to know this fixed it for you though.

I found the cause of my problem, it was the Audio DJ Pro 2 I started using on these two PCs when running at 82000hz or 96000hz. Seems like the latency jogs the effects.
