Before I purchase Traktor Scratch Pro / Maschine Integration question

Hello all I am about to purchase Traktor scratch Pro for the purpose of using it with my maschine that i allready have. But im not entirly sure if it will do what i want it to do.

I do not want to use my maschine as a controller for traktor scratch pro.

I want to play my music i make on the maschine application on a deck in traktor scratch pro application so that I can Mix music from the traktor scratch pro application with my maschine tracks in real time inside of the traktor scratch application.

As i understand it i cqn play my maschine beats on a deck inside of tracktor scratch pro and then mix music from the traktor application and traktor will controll the timing of it all. this is my goal this is what i want.

Im not sure if this is possible. All of the videos i see the maschine seems to be used as a controller for the traktor application (this seems like a large waste of maschine in my opinion).

is this possible. I have 2 mac laptops and i plan to get an audio 8 for each and i will run maschine on 1 and traktor scratch pro on the other. any thoughts, ideas,tips or opinions would be greatly appreciated

I also have other external groove boxs such as the roland mc 909 can i plan these beats via midi on traktor scratch pro?

 

Yeah - you can either do it on one or two laptops.

1 requires a MIDI yolk.

2 require a setup that I detail in another thred (just search my user name)

I am just tring to get the setup working now with Maschine as a VST in a DAW so that sets can easily be recorded with a bunch of other audio (guitars etc.) as well as other VSTs (Kore etc.).

if you use apple, you need "soundflower", a wonderful programme

set your output of maschine
and this one goes to your input in Traktor (i use deck 4 for this)

 

Hey Waldo, different question, did you ever consider using the 909 you have just as a midi controller for traktor? i have one too and i cannot stop thinking about controlling traktors fx with the laser beams etc.. would involve quite some midi programming tho.
