Behringer ddm midi question

I have read as much as I could find concerning the midi set up with the DDM 4000. I have gotten the midi to be maped on lines 1 & 4 but my question is; how do I get the buttons to stay on as long as the corresponding button is on in Traktor? The lite come on when I press on & off but it will not stay on like my previous BCD-3000. I have played with the values in the midi set-up page. i have even tried the pulse phase output & it just stays on constantly. Please, any insight would be greatly appreciated.

 

There is a small bug in the DDM regarding the LEDs underneath the EQ Preset Buttons. They only light up for short time when they are triggered by Midi.

 

Thanks 4 ur reply. When u say "bug", do u think it is something that eventually be fixed in the software? I find it hard to believe that the LED works when it is being used as an EQ kill but not as a midi controller.

 

In my opinion Behringer programmed the DDM/Eq's to flash when active, so when your trying to set 1,2 or 3 channels as midi there is a conflict between them.

If you set all 4 channels in the DDM midi settings to midi then your LED command will work, as tried and tested.

So when all 4 channels are in Midi mode the EQ LEDs light up constantly when they get the midi command?

 

Yes.

As long as there set to Toggle in Traktor midi set up

EG; Eq low kill/in/Deck A/Toggle/ch01.note.F#-1

Eq low kill/Out/Deck A/Output/ch01.CC.071

These are on ch2 on DDM
