"Best Daw" is like asking what is the "Best car" or "Best Mattress". The problem with humans is they are all different and have different tastes, needs and wants. It would be a much more efficient world if we all liked the same things but a tad boring.

Different DAWs have different workflows. Ableton, Bitwig and Fruity Loops for instance are more like "sketch pads" to create small ideas as patterns/clips and then build your song from ideas like painting (sort of). Logic, Cubase, Reaper and Pro Tools are more linear where you have your tracks and you record in a linear timeline fashion, then you have things like Reason and Maschine which are more "groove boxes" or experimental playgrounds where you can generate some neat ideas fast, but less of a traditional workspace.

So all different, none are "best" and if you want good integration with Komplete Kontrol I would first google for what daws are supported for integration so at least you can get that side working. Typically people tend to have things like a DAW already in place before getting a Komplete Kontrol setup tho.
