Evenin all, Just trying to set up my midi keyboard in maschine, and not getting anywhere fast.

Just wanted to ask what the best way to have the keyboard hooked up is? I dont have a midi cable, but would this be the best way instead of USB?

    Thanks in advance

Yeah, I think it has to go through Maschine's midi input for the program to recognize it? At least, that's how I have it running, out my mid keyboard, in Maschine, powered by a wall adaptor.

i got a novation sl61 and dis badboy works seamlessly..if u want more control u just run automap and wallahhhhh..but then again this controller is on the more expensive side but iz well worth it..no problems once so ever..

I have had a Nano and an Edirol both hooked up with USB and they worked great for me with no problems at all. If your keyboard is USB and can run off only USB power that is one less plug in the wall. Just make sure you set it up in the audio & midi setting in Maschine.

Did your keyboard come with drivers? did you install them?
