Best way to expand loop?

I have a Z1, if that matters. It's hard enough to get the loop started at the right spot as the track is moving (I'm like Bruce Lee). But, then what if I want to extend the loop, since I'm normally limited by the zoom. Once it's zoomed out, it's frustratingly hard to hit things right.

 

not sure what you mean with extend ? do can double the loop length (e.g.from 4 to 8 beat with a two finger gesture in wave view during play. The intro lessions and video explain how. Btw: it is much easier with a S2/S4 where you have an encoder to modify loop length during play (S4 shows loop lenth on top).

Btw .. no Bruce Lee skill needed to start loop in time ... make sure you zoomed out, so the waves scrolls slowly, and check the quatize size in options, so TDJ readjust itself the starting moment in sync mode.
