As stated in the title, this was done 100% in Maschine. We go by Business Casual and would love some honest feedback! So if you have the time, let us know what you think. Thanks a lot!

Agreed, nice track but Maschine isn't the greatest for mixing and mastering. Throw it in a daw and use a spectrum analyzer to properly mix.

Otherwise it's great, keep it up.

Any suggestions and maybe how you would tame them or possibly what frequency range they are getting a bit wild? Also, how would you suggest mixing in another daw since I have quite a few track running? Sampling every line of every sound out, putting it in the daw, and then mixing from there? Or do you mean more mastering it in another daw? Thanks for the replies!

Thanks a lot for the feedback, really appreciate it. How would you suggest to mix it in another daw? Sampling out each sound and then placing them in a daw? Or possibly using Maschine as a plugin in Pro Tools (or any daw for that matter)? Just curious because I have thought about doing that, but I can't really figure out a good way to do so. I could understand mastering it in another daw though, since it would just be the one audio file. Thanks again!

You could drag the stems out of maschine and drop them into your daw of choice ..i use cubase but you may use something else then add a good eq and just turn your high frequencys down and give them a slight boost in the low range.

Maschine is great to create rough mixs but to polish hem up you deffinatlly need a daw because a daw has greater options and better tools to finish your mix properlly..i like using focusrite liquid mix theres some really good emulations on there of classic gear but cubase also contains really good eqs, compressors that can help.

If you are using VST plugins in Maschine there is no real reason that you would need to transfer the files out. Stick with it.

Ya I use VST's on every track essentially. Basically, every track gets the fabfilter-Q EQ right off the bat. Then comes the other compressors/effects/etc, or whatever I think it needs. Then I usually have each track getting sent to some other track I have with just effects on it if I feel it needs more. And a lot of the time I'll just put the send on an aux channel of the track so I can just mix in a little of the effect or effect chain. I really never use maschine stock FX's besides when I'm in the creative zone and I just need something on there quick so I don't lose my flow...then I go back later and change it with a vst. every effect I use is either a waves plugin or some other random VST I found that I like.
