Big Sur OS11

Whilst I assume that an update will be widely spread across social media. The silence from NI is deafening!! Is there any further news on when the 'Systematic Tests' will be competed? I'm sure that the only clock that happens to be in the NI office is one that deals with wind erosion! and the time simply hasnt passed

Communication is a massive part of good customer service and the lack of it getting somewhat annoying! even an update to say they are still working on would be nice!

I think it is not far to put this on NI as it is Apple who is changing their codes. So you should take it up with Apple to file your complaint about NI products not working (coorectly) at the moment.

 

Other companies (eg Waves and Arturia (at least for the V collection)) have now done their testing and announced all is fine.

 

This might be. We do not know which challenges NI is facing that other companies might not have.
If NI would set a deadline and communicate this to the world they are bound to it. Even if the updates are far from finished. NI would never communicate a release date until they are sure everything is working.

 

Hey everybody thanks for reaching out! We know we have been quiet over the last weeks about compatibility with Big Sur / Apple Silicon, but rest assured that it’s high on our agenda. Here is a quick update on the situation.

TRAKTOR Software - Apple Silicon compatibility
We have released a first beta (version 3.4.1) in the Public Beta Forum. You can contribute to the quality of this release by participating in the public beta test allowing us to cover as many setups as possible. We are confident that we can release a final version within a few weeks.

TRAKTOR Hardware - Apple Silicon compatibility
Test are ongoing but so far it's looking good. We'll update you as soon as we can in the Apple Silicon Compatibility News article.

TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 - Big Sur compatibility
For resolving the critical HID issues observed with the S4MK3 on Big Sur OS11, we continued to work on a solution with Apple. We can’t commit to a date yet, but we are optimistic that we can give you a positive update in the coming weeks as well.
