    Hi
I'm trying to turn a 'standard" gate output to a block gate.Initially i just connected the gate out to the block gate which worked, but as i increased the clock rate i found some clocks didn't trigger the gate(1/24,1/48). So i put together macro that converts the gate to work properly.see screen shot. I was wondering if there was a better/more efficient way to do it

Not sure if I'm understanding your question correctly, but if you're asking how to translate a primary gate to a core gate (to be used within the block/process macro), you can find several different gate functions in Library > Control > Envelope > Gate (see screenshot). You can then utilize the bundled output for On/Off/Velocity values, or individually by using Unpack with the desired fiber pickup.

Thanks for the reply, yes you understood my question.I'll have a look at all these options . what i have already works fine as far as i can tell.I just felt that it was a bodge fix and was wondering if there was a"proper way".
I really must spend some time looking at all the new additions/ rearrangement of the R6 libraries, and not playing with it all.
    thanks again

Just to say, after looking into various blocks i found a macro "Audio gate" in the note in block and have used that to "convert " the gates. So far this has been the most reliable macro ,it seams to deal with all tempos and clocks.
