    hello~

I recently got a new S88 MK2 which also has this screen flickering / blue artifacts issue....

Edit: received a response from Native Instruments Support:

I received a message from the repair center that I should send it in. The message seemed generic enough that it could apply to anything. I would rather not send it back since I need it for my projects. Is there a NI rep that can confirm this?

That is quite strange. I wait for over a month. In vain. Tech support wrote to me that they will not replace my kk88 because they cannot guarantee that the replacement unit is free from this fault. Seems like komplete bullshit. (pun intended)

At the same time it contradicts the earlier tech support statements that the problem is sporadic.

My formal request to give an approximate timeline for a fix or replace the unit as guaranteed in NI terms and conditions has been utterly ignored.

As quoted earlier in this thread, here is again the statement from our hardware team:

" We learned that there is an issue of random pixels appearing in the displays in a small number of units of Maschine MK3 / Komplete Kontrol S 49, S61 & S88 MK2. Our Engineering team is already working on a fix with the highest priority. We can assure you that this is not a defect on your hardware device and a Firmware Update will be released as soon as possible to fix the issue. In the meantime, we recommend to keep your device and wait for the fix.
Thank you for your patience and our apologies for any inconvenience this might have caused."

You can just hold on to your hardware and the Firmware Update coming up will solve this.

I see this on my S88 on the left side.

The fact that it’s only happening on a small number of deceives, and some on the right, some on the left, seems like bad hardware to me....

Yep, I can confirm aswell. Everything so far is working as intended. No artifacts on the screen.
