Bottom decks when clicking beat amount loop buttons advanced panel malfunction

Not sure what causes this yet.

Also when this happens other tiny issues seem to have gone wrong right after, like cant bring new tracks from collection into playlist, it seems as they go in but they never show up...


It seems sometime when I go to activate loop on the bottom 2 decks C & D but mainly deck D this wants to open and close the advanced panel in that Deck..Once this happens once...

It behaves Kinda like a website, where there is one button that covers a large area, so anywhere you click in that area its that button/function. So if I click 32,8,4, 2, the left and right arrow key it activates the advanced tab and not the intended function, even the space between sections acts as a button.

What this also does is cause a resize so your efx panel at the top disappears..But this is only in full screen mode.

Sometime clicking in the list or adding a new track to a different deck resets this bug. It can become a big headache when recording live.

Another way I found around it is to have a hot key on the activate button, this at least allow you to active the loop cues.

 

Figured this bug out, it happens in fullscreen mode, just need to take TP in and out of fullscreen and it resets the nasty bugger. If you dont you will stumble upon other strange happenings.

1 week since upgrading to Pro and I have experienced the same problem when in 4-deck mode, usually with all 4-decks looping simultaneously.

I'll owe you a beer if your solution works

FYI: I'm running Pro on a Macbook, 2.65 Ghz dual core Intel, 4 Gb RAM. The CPU meter shows it's hardly being used, so a problem related to the GUI makes more sense.

I'll report back when I've tried your solution... just need to provoke the problem again.

P.S. I searched widely on the web and in this forum and it seems that we are the only 2 users to have had this happen

 

Bug can be reproduced in full screen

OK, I've reproduced the advanced loop/grid control display bug and tried your solution... it works! However, it is not ideal when working a mix and wishing to come out of a loop in a synchronised fashion.

If the bug is affecting the advanced control display, you don't know until you click to change the loop's status (on/off or the active button), meaning that you have to quickly switch out of full screen mode to get the buttons working again.

Anyone's help on this would be appreciated.
