bought Kontakt 6, need EMu cd import, -_-*.. v5 available ?

(really i dunno why NI do not include cd imports anymore)

i bought v6 JUST TO import my Emu cd's......

HOW WE DO ??????

..... WHAT A DECEPTION ??.....

is it possible NI gives me Kontakt v5 to install aside v6 please ?

i need proper structures of library / instrumrnts / variation like "VOL.12 > SAX > tenor.nki"...

Kontakt 6 does not claim to import Akai CDs. Consider https://www.extranslator.com/index.php?page=exsc

 

i know, i hope they support back import : i need v5 download to install aside.

extranslator is one-by-one converter not batch, to long for 100 intruments per cd. :s

edit: nvm, extranslator works fine in batch (multiple patch) ! but i hope someone of NI will give me kontakt 5 install link. i prefer.

 

how i install my converted .nki in kontakt library ? (aside Alicia Keys, Factory), only with file explorer/browser ? :s

 

You cannot add self made NKIs to the Library tab in K6, you have to use the file browser or add them to the Quick load menu.

Kontakt 5 no longer available from N.I. unless you already own it. You would have to buy a used license legally with proper license transfer. Look for a items for sale topic in the forum. Or pist a wanted to buy there.

Well, generally when you buy new software you do NOT get access to older versions as no longer supported.

I hear you, though. I keep K5 installed for random needs like my old Gigastudio samples or 100+ Akai discs. Luckily almost anything sampled for Akai in olden days got newer, better iterations with modern sampling. Still there is 'charm' in some old skool stuff.

Wow, so you're saying first time 7x buyer can still download version 6 without a serial number or license? Cool.
Most companies do not give you license to OLDER versions of software when your first time purchase is new version. So, buying Logic X, you don't get Logic 9. Buying KOMPLETE 12, you don't get KOMPLETE 11 items discontinued. Buying Pro Tools 11, you don't get Pro Tools 10, etc.

Anyway-- asked and answered. You can't get K5 from N.I. You need to buy used license legally. Cheers

& with bitwig > same : all olders releases u prefer (1,2,3,mac,win,linux)
