Bought new machine mk2 serial invalid with 2.0

    I bought a brand new mikro mk2 which specifically mentions on the box its got machine 2.0 software included.
    I've downloaded Maschine 2.0 and on installation service centre said the serial is invalid!!!
    How do i get 2.0 on my mac, and why do i get an invalid key?

    Once you have registered the MK2 and the 1.8 software, you should get a new serial for the 2.0 software via email.

    How long will it take before i get the email?

    Support is usually fast with those.. Give it 2 business days before you get worried about it.

    I just "love" how they inform you about this. I am sitting here like a ****ing idiot re-entering the same invalid serial for the 10th time. I mean, my first impression of my MK2 isn't really positive. I hope I get that e-mail soon.

    I got it. But I was trying to install it on a saturday and I think I got it on a tuesday. So perhaps it takes 2 working days. No need to e-mail them. Just register your product.

    What the hell!?

    I'm having the same issue. Installed Maschine software and cannot register through service center. So how should I know that I have to wait for some random email to appear with new serial? So frustrating and badly designed for end user!

    So... back to waiting. At least I don't have to try to reinstall everything again.

    I had emailed them before I found this forum and waited almost a week and still heard nothing so I called and he said try you code again and I did (even tho I had tried it a million times the day I bought it) and it worked so maybe just wait a couple days and try urs again

    I had also already contacted the support with form before I run into this forum, so hopefully they'll solve the issue...

    This is REALLY f***ing annoying. You spend almost a $1000 on a piece of kit at the start of the weekend, thinking you'll be making beats by lunch time & all weekend, only to find out via a forum (having already re-entered the serial on your DVD sleeve about 50 times) that you have a to register the hardware first AND wait 2-3 working days before a new code arrives!? WHAT!? There is no mention of having to register the hardware first in any documentation.

    SORT YOUR SH*T OUT NI!!!!
