BPM in traktor Pro 2 is incorrect

    Hello All,

    I am in the process of analyzing the songs in Traktor Pro2.

    Many songs are displaying wrong BPM's in traktor, example:

    Fireflies by "Owl City" is displaying as 179.999 in Traktor Pro2 while the same song is listed as 79.00 BPM in Itunes, (from beaTunes)

    Also, the song "Mysterious Girl" (Peter Andre) is displayed as 171.98 BPM. While this is not the case.

    Please advise on why the Traktor Pro2 is not analyzing tracks correctly.

    There are many tracks which are displaying a wrong BPM in traktor Pro2.

    May be you had defined the wrong Area of valid BPMs? e.g. when defining BPMs from 100 to 180 this may happen?

    Yes, my BPM detection preferences is set between 60-200.

    Change the BPM range so that it no longer includes 170+

    ...or use the /2 - x2 buttons on the advanced panel to correct these bpm, then lock the grid once corrected.
