BPMs are messed up.

On some of my tracks I get a white box at the beginning of the wave form. The BPM on some of my tracks is way off and the auto BPM is messed up.
Some of my BPMs are in the thousands per min
IE 1399.88
Whats causing this

ya I am getting BPM's in the tens of thousands too. This has happened on two machines so far.

 

please contact the support and send them an example track.
i've seen this before - you're on mac, right?

 

It looks like it might be getting a wrong reading because these songs have not been analyzed as of yet. I have 1/3 of my collection that has not been analyzed so maybe thats why these tracks are showing ridicules BPM's.
Is there a way to analyze individual folders or a handful of tracks from the browser?

 

sure, just highlight some > rightclick > analyze.

 

When I right click in the explorer window, all I get is add to collection and show in collection. No analyze.

 

Add them to your Track collection first. Then Analyze.

 

yes. tracks have to be imported!
see the explorer more or less as *view only*.

 

I only use explorer. I guess im doing this wrong. If I add tracks to collection then I am able to search them. Where else would I be browsing songs besides explorer?

 

exactly.

in the track collection. it has some subfolders (that unfortunately cannot be changed or individually chosen) and you can sort it by column. or using the search.
