Broken USB port the Brand New Mixer.

I'm not happy.Unboxing the mixer and:
Damage the usb left side.

I know it's new and should be perfect but at least from that video it doesn't look bad. Is the port loose? Is the Z2 still recognized?

 

Yes,the port loose.The left side.Works,but unplug the USB cable in a moment.(Not fix)

Unregister the software. Take it right back for a replacement. Warranty repairs are for things that broke not things that came broken.

But it's not brand new.
It's refurbished.

I have a new one sent for repair. (0day ,never used,manufacturing fault)

 

@sajby, this is actually ridiculous. From the very get go this should have been them giving you another brand spankin' new unit.

Can someone at NI please rectify this? It's pretty damn lame he brought back a brand new mixer for a problem and got one that looked like it's been on tour a whole year at the hands of a savage.

i dont understand the fuss... just open another ticket (as you did meanwhile) and/or involve one of us moderators here. easy as pie and better than opening threads with offensive headlines... and not only here but all over the internet. smh...

 

Maybe for you this is normal behaviour, but there are people outthere saving for their gear and expect some quality and not too recieve a unit that is broken and the replacement unit is used.
Nothing wrong posting that on this forum.
Somebody messed up here.

@fella she is referencing a thread he started somewhere else on another site. I know you can't tell from her post but, I know what she is talking about. Posting it on that other site was a bit uncalled for but, I understand his frustration. I just don't think public shaming a whole company for something an individual technician did is right either. If anything am pretty sure she has already brought the Z2 repair problem up to someone in NI who will make it right.
