Browser: duplicated entries.

hi

after moving to latest update (1.7) i see some duplicated entries when browsing.
does someone noticed this?

Had the same problem, in the Maschine software right click on some of the duplicated files and choose open in "containing folder" to see what paths are duplicated. You might have double paths in your user library where one can be deleted. Hope that helps

 

but, this is something that the NI database has to deal with. not the user, manually...

 

please list these duplicates.

i have a lof of duplicted entries... if i begin to write them all i will never finish.
instead, here it is a screenshot that shows whats happening. not all entries are duplicated. but wgile browsing, i find duplicated.
just wanna be sure because i dont really know if the database is healthy.
note: i followed your suggestion: before updating to 1.7, i run everything before in standalone.

try this: highlight Kontakt - in Bank - what happens then?

after a quick look into the kontakt bank, i didnt found duplicated entries.
also,i looked into the other banks. i found some duplicated entries into reaktor bank.

 

the thing is, those Sounds that you showed in your screenshot are Kontakt Sounds. when you have Kontakt highlighted, you don't see the duplications.

does this happen with the Reaktor Sounds. i mean, if you have Reaktor highlighted in Bank, do you see duplicates.

after looking deeper, i realised that there are some presets with the same name for STEAMPIPE1 and STEAMPIPE2, also in SPACEDRONE and MASSIVE1 there are some presets with the same name.

i can confirm the duplication in Spacedone and Massive 1.1.

i think you have discovered a bug. i will report this!

and i was hoping that duplications were a Kore thing

i think there another 2 bugs... check technical issues forum please (note repeat repeats the pad it wants, and sample loop does not loop for notes greater than C3!)
