Browser Feature — Separate Track/ReMix browsing, Track/Remix set

1. I have the S8 and so i've in my head have the idea that I'm mixing tracks with A&B and supplementing and transitioning with ReMixes on C&D.

When I open the browse window on a Remix deck gives me the last folder i browsed which is often a Track deck folder. I'd like to be able to keep them separate so that when I open a Track deck it goes to a folder with only tracks and when I open a ReMix deck it only goes to a folder with Remixes. Even if i could have each deck go to its own folder that would be nice, too.

2. I'd like to be bale to save Remix sets with Tracks so that when I load a track I get certain samples that i've put together with those tracks and not have to load twice or go looking for the proper remix set for the track i'm loading.

3. import Apple Loops (.caf files) directly into remix decks.

perhaps there is already some way to do this and i just haven't figured out the best workflow for me yet, as i'm new to DJing.

+100, excellent idea, i just stumbled onto this problem.
Browsing while in a remix deck should give only remix deck sets

I want to switch fast to other remix sets, i dont want to browse in the folders for remix sets.

How can you - 1 this btw??

 

If only the override mapping was available for S8 this could be done by adding only two commands.

that i wanted to associates remix sets with tracks so when i loaded a track a remix set loaded in another deck.
or visa versa.

now that it is possible to override mappings on the S8, how would i do it?!

 

Add a modifier and map it to DECK button.

Deck B is selected , Modifier 1=0
Deck D is selected , Modifier 1=1

Then add "Favorites Selector" and map it to Browser Encoder Push.

If M1=0 than select value X
If M1=1 than select value 5 (which is All Remix Sets crate)
