browser help

hey everybody, was reading up on trying to rebuild my database to solve issues with bank names not showing as seen below... i've also had problems with them wanting to duplicate right on top of the other bank name where it'll show the one beneath it getting squished....any tips to fix this?

i've noticed there's never an end to rebuilding the database, (circular thing in top right corner) when i click on it... maybe it just takes hours on hours?

In short.

I don't know why this happens, but it does.

You can try to rebuild the database again.

If you have many presets in many levels, then perhaps it can be too much. Also the start up time will be slower. So perhaps a clean up in your presets can help.

Yes it can take quite some time to rebuild the database, especially if you have many presets.... But if banks/ something are missed i'm not sure they will show up.
Also Massive check for new presets at start up.

Yes.
Rebuilding of the database is something you only need to do, if something is wrong.

Thank you, any reason why massive takes a bit longer to scroll through browser now even tho my MacBook specs are top of the line, 2014 mb pro, 16 gb ram, 1 terabyte flash etc?

 

Having a large database can slow things down. But i can't tell if that's why for you.

I don't use MAC.

The weird bank names come from multi-line values being displayed in single-line fields. If you want to fix them, you can change the bank name in the preset. You can click in the field, Select All (Ctrl-A on a PC) and delete, then write or paste in the correct bank name.
