Closed Browser Issues

1. When loading a track and quickly (within a second or two) clicking to search to for a second song, when typing the browser will refresh and mess up what is being typed.

2. When an analysis has been completed the browser will move the analysed song to the correct location in the sorted list. If you try to change any of the fields for any track in the browser when this sort happens, it will move the selected text into the above track info, thus changing the name or artist of a non selected track.

3. When navigating away from a favourite in the browser, the variable/app path at app.traktor.browser.favorites.select does not reset to -1 (no favourite selected).

4. Is it possible to change the BrowserDataType to Track when 'Track Collection' is selected on screen. This would allow NI controllers with screens to display all tracks, remix decks and stems at the same time without having to choose specifically which type.

5. When searching with the browser, pressing enter will search within the entire track collection rather than the selected playlist/folder. This is particularly annoying when needing to search for tracks quickly during sets. I think it would be better suited to disable focus on the search box rather than resetting to the root of the browser.

6. The variable/app path for the search box text is missing. Why not add this in to allow the search text to be displayed on the S8 Screens, using an extra keyboard would mean the laptop could be completely closed to allow full integration with the software from hardware controllers.

7. Sometimes when searching within a playlist you receive a ''Warning syntax error in expression. could not convert to number'' error. This can be normally fixed by pressing the "x" returning to track collection and then back to the playlist to search. This happens with even basic 1 word text search querys.

8. Sometimes when searching, not all results are displayed/matched to the search function. 99% of the time it is fine but when it is not, it will display ~50% of what should be displayed. Sods law, it normally cant show the specific track you are looking for but will display others. I can't remember 100% how this happens but if i manage to replicate it will try to update this.

There's probably a couple of other bugs but that's all I can remember currently.

I will send you a private message regarding the internal issues of Traktor. It’s a bit more technical than most stuff here as well as I’m not 100% sure you’ll want all the info out there regarding Traktor’s internal variables.
