BS will not load Defaults in PT

Hi ... I'm running ProTools 7 on my Powerbook G4 (OSX.4.8) and trying to run the latest version of Bandstand ... but it will not load any ofthe defaults. Also, there are some weird visual things going on when I try to load up instruments individually too.

Anyone know what's going on here?

Some more specific info on nature of problem ...

To give more information I am running ProTools (7.1) on my Powerbook G4 (OSX.4.8) running BandStand ...

Version 1.0.2.006
Library version 1.0.1 R3
IRC version 1.2.0.0
DFD version 1.5.0.0

Whenever I try to load it (either as RTAS within ProTools or free standing I get the following message when I try to load the programme

ERROR: Can't load default multi!


The programme will eventually load up but then it will not allow me to load up any instruments within it.

Obvioulsy somethiing is very seriously wrong here but any ideas what?

Hi Haiku,

I would check that you sample library path is set correctly in the Options dialog. it should point to one level above the Default/Presets/Demo folders.

if that still does not work, rerun the latest update installer once you have fixed the library path.

The sample library path was all fine .. what I had to do in the end was just re-install the whole programme from the original disc and then update by update. It's done the trick now .. fingers crossed!

 

I'm running PT 7.3 with no problems at all.
