Apologies if this isn't the correct place. I tried figuring out this forum's layout or even the right place to post, but it's a bit scattered.

Operating System: Mac OS Big Sur 11.2
    Live Version: 11.0.2
NI Plugin: Any effect from NI - Raum, Choral, Dirt - anything in Komplete - all are updated in Native Access

Bug description: In Live 11, if you add a NI effect to a track, open it, then press the close window button on the plugin, Live 11 crashes immediately. This also happened in Live 10 but not as frequently. I would deduce that it's a problem with Live, but it's every single effect in Komplete 13.

This does not happen with the instruments, Kontakt, FM8, Massive X - It's _only_ the effects.

    Observed Results: Immediate crash.
    Expected Results: Don't crash.
    Reproducibility: Consistently

    Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
    Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x000007f9f0ae7e78
    Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY

    Termination Signal: Segmentation fault: 11
Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 0xb
    Terminating Process: exc handler [6606]

If there is a better place to file bugs, please let me know and I'll do it. I just spent 10 minutes trying to find a place, and this is all I could find. It shouldn't be this hard to intake information from customers.

    Welcome to the forums.

I think your problems are mainly caused by the latest MacOS version. Just like before the latest Apple update has caused problems for tons of DAW's and audio software. I'm not sure what the current status is (using Windows myself) but that's where I'd start looking.

    Thanks!

Yeah, I'm sure that's the issue - just didn't know if the plugins were already cleared or not for Big Sur, I looked at the list that is linked at the top of the forum and see some checkmarks for some instruments, but none for effects.

I'll just not use them until ... someday.
