Using the demo version, I noticed that the VST plugin's settings were lost when you closed the guitar rig window. Does the commercial version have the same issue?

Also, how many computers can I have it installed on in my house?

And...Who has the best price in the US?

    This is the demo limitation

Disabled are: total recall, save/load preset banks, audio recorder.

The full version will not have these limitations.

As far as your question about how many computers you can install GR on.. you'll find all relevant copy protection info at this link:

How quick is it to deactive/active an authorization? i.e. can I have it installed on 4 systems but deactive and activate the active system I am using?

    P.S.

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same thing here regarding total recall and save/load preset banks. What I'm talking about is loading the GR via VST in cakewalk like I do with any other patch. For example, I apply the Lexicon reverb, tweak some params then close the lexicon dialog. Those parameters are saved when I double click on the reverb later. When I try the same thing with the demo version of the guitar rig, all the settings are back to default state. Nothing I tweaked was remembered. They are only remembered when the GR window is active. Incidentally, why is the GR window style set to "always on top" ? This is very annoying.

Definitely a demo limitation, if I understand correctly. As a vst plug, I have a preset which loads each time I load GR, and that I can edit. You have this behavior probably because the demo does not allow to save presets.

I dont belive the NI auth stuff works that way. i.e. its not a floating licence system. You can de-auth an install but it is forever de-authed. The package can never ben run on that setup again. This is to allow you to de-auth an old PC before sale/upgrade etc.
