i cannot contain anymore how frustrating this is. if i close the browser panel there is a reason behind it. why on earth guitar rig 6 does not recall the damn panel as closed when one restores the ui. i work on a 14 inch laptop where that fat **** of panel takes a sizable amount of the real space. i have to close the thing manually like twenty times per day because it does not let me see behind it. this is not professional. i need something like in kontakt where one can have it in compact mode. i'm arranging a song not working with a spreadsheet. ****.

guitar rig 5 has that fixed. bring on the frequent updates, please.

    Hey David,
What is your operating system ? Please get in touch with us here through this typeform :
    https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009382337
If you can include the result of the support tool and a video of the issue, that would be great, so we can report a bug if needed.

OS doesn't matter here, what OP talks about happens on either platform. Scroll position of the browser and the rack aren't preserved when closing/reopening GR6 GUI, whereas it worked just fine in GR5.

I doubt data from support tool will be helpful here, it's quite easy to verify this behavior by simply trying it out. :)

That is correct. No matter what DAW/OS.

My bad, I had misread the original post. I should have tried it out first. The bug is already filed (GR6-691), unfortunately I don't have an estimate date of when this will get fixed, sorry for the inconvenience, David.

alright, whatever thing it is, let's track and fix this please. i can get around most of guitar rig 6 limitations but this and the HUGE latency problem (that got posted as a feature request) make the plugin impossible for me.

i promise i will not come back here anymore but to thank you.

It's filed and tracked as Jeremy already said. But when or if it gets fixed is up to GR6 team's PO.

We have just released the Guitar Rig 6.2.0 update. Please install it via Native Access and see if the issue has been solved.

    Better late than never ;)
Please believe me when I tell you that we would have loved to release this update sooner but sometimes things just don't go as planned. :(
