    Searching is fast as usual for me. I wonder are the music files on an ext hardrive or on the computer. I had issues with track loading and bought an expresscard adapter qith a 3.0 usb connection. For my ext hd. I wonder if this could be the difference. Oh and actually sometimes I accidentally click the little search icon by the bpm and it happens so fast I dont even realize I am now looking at search results. So yeah fast.

    Maybe check consistecny and make sure everything is in the collection. Since that is how the search is enabled to be fast. Hope this helps.

    Oh and I have indexing turned off(dont know if it makes a difference) and I am using windows.

    I'm using it on my IMac and my Dell both have the music files on the internal hdd and have the same problem on both systems,i'll re-check the consitency to see if that helps thanks

    Well it must have been a change on their behalf, before 2.5 it was pretty fast... Can't be my HDD either as I'm running on a blazing fast SSD :)
