Hi, just purchased Bandstand and overall I think it is a great product. One slightly annoying thing I have noticed however is that I can spen ages settting up the levels on the mix screen then go back to the play screen and decide I want to add another instrument and return to the mix screen to find all of the levels have been reverted to their default levels so I have to start again.

I would very much like to see a fix for this in the next available upgrade!

How are you using Bandstand? Is it as a soft synth inserted in sequencer? Because that sort of behaviour sounds like the midi file/tracks you're playing telling Bandstand what the levels, etc. should be and you need to amend these in the sequencer.

I was using BS in stand-alone and wasn't palying any MIDI files - so when I play live with the stand alone mode, configuration becomes annoying when I have to add new instruments.

But that's a side issue, it doesn't seem to do it when opened in my host sequencer. If you know anything about using MIDI controllers to control BS routed through a sequencer I would appreciate your input on another thread I have started -

    Many thanks

    Hi sifisher,

did you try the Mixer settings in the Options dialog? there is one to filter out Mixer automation from the MIDI file and another one to only load those settings once and then use your own!

store the final mix as a Preset in Bandstand!

    best,
    Markus
