Bugtracker access & important info!

if you have problems accessing our issue tracking system please proceed as follows:

- Make sure you first log in to http://www.native-instruments.com/index.php?id=pbterms with your standard NI Username.
- On the next page you're asked to accept the Public Beta Test Agreement Terms. Do so if you want to proceed.
- You'll see a page with the available public beta versions for you. Click on 'Download public beta version…'
- Now you see a page with some information on the version itself and right above the Download links you see the following:

"Dear <Maschine UserName>
If you want to report a bug, click here to create an account in our bugtracker.
You will receive an email with your account details and login link to our issue tracking system."

- If you click on the 'here' link a new account will be created for you in our issue tracking system. You receive an email now about this (Subject: [JIRA] Account created) which includes any necessary information including your password as well. At the same time the page reloads and you can read (right above the Download links again):

"Welcome <Maschine UserName>
If you want to report a bug, click here to log into our issue tracking system with your username <123456789>. You previously received an email with your account data.
In case you forgot your password, you can retrieve it via the "Forgot Password" link on the sign up page."

<123456789> is just an example here.

- When you click 'here' you'll be directed to the login page of the issue tracking system (Jira). Please enter the username above (the one which also has been sent to you via email) and your password (from the very same email).


If all of this doesn't work please send an email to:

publicbeta-request@native-instruments.de

including:

- the email address you use
- first name
- last name
- login you try to use

WHat should I use dsamplz@gmail.com or dzmplz as user? I cant log in either!

 

still not working. I have spent enough time trying, and submitting through tech support to try and resolve this further.

does not work with sonar. renders old projects useless as all other vst's will not play. others report zero sound within sonar.

Include normal login, forum ID etc. And I am sure this would be resolved.

As for leaving bugreports in the forum, wont get the issues fixed unfortunately, since we often ask for projects, video or screenshots that will help us reproduce it. We have several reports on sonar issues, I just hope that your problem will be fixed for release too, or that someone else were able to enter a report, with the data we need to fix it.

 

The public beta report form doesn't give an option for 1.6 in the version dropdown. Did I go to the wrong place?

I think this is pre-selected for you. What build number do you see?.

Can you screenshot the page where you dont get any further?

 

there ya go - got 1.6.0 (R6516) installed, can't choose 1.6 in the dropdown menu.

We have changed tracking systems since the 1.5.1 public beta test, so you are logged into the old bugtracker.

Direct Link to Bugtracker?

Hi,

Can you provide a direct link to log in to the bugtracker for beta 1.6? I'm at work, so I can't install the beta on this computer . A direct link would be great as I want to report something and/or see if it's already been reported.

You receive a bugtracker link in the welcome mail and when you log in to the beta system.

If you start here, you should be well underway

I'm at work. I can't download the 1.6 beta on this computer. Is there another way in?

I already updated to 1.6 and didn't see all this info when I was downloading it...but I also wasn't really looking for it. Is there anyway to get the bug tracker without having to re-download/install?

just spent like 5 minutes filling out a bug report and the site crashed...hahahah. teh irony ^_^

I've sent in a bug report with the first 1.6 version.

Can't log in anymore. Requested a new password and it still says "no"..

 

Sounds strange you could log in to the tracker but not anymore now, - In case of login problems please contact

I've sent an e-mail to Jira.

Beacause it stated: "If you have problems with your login although you are a registered user or beta tester send an email to our Jira Adminstrators."
