Resolved build 270 freeze

Hi,

I've got a freeze when checking the "do not ask me again" checkbox on the beatlink startup screen.
Haven't had this on my desktop.

OS Windows 10 21h1
DDJ-SZ connected and disconnected. Both the same.

Do you need the output of Support tool?

Here is a video of the issue. The DDJ-SZ is not connected in this video but that makes no difference.

 

This has been filled as TP-15649
Do you have the same crash each time you click on "don't ask me again" or is it happening randomly ?
Are you able to have a normal session of Traktor if you just clic on "Continue without LINK" ?

 

It happens each time when clicking don't ask me again. Just clicking continue, gives no further problems.

 

It's related to the Pioneer DDJ-SZ mapping. It's the same freeze as on the preferences window. This issue comes up more and more. I hope you are still looking into this.

Freezes happen when:

- Entering and closing preferences window
- Clicking 'do not ask me again' on beatport/link window
- Shutting down Traktor
- Starting Traktor without controller connected

I have a small gig in about an hour. Will test the RC prior to the gig

 

Just upgraded my old laptop to 3.5.1 (RC) (from 3.4.2) and the same problem occured. It has something to do with the (giant) Pioneer mappings and it's related to this issue: https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/preferences-window-freeze.328315/
