Building guidelines?

    That's in spite of Partials Framework, not because of it. Herwig is building a very large complicated system, so he must and does write clear very well structured code. I promise that you can write messy spaghetti just as easily with partials framework as without!

    Yes, that's more or less what I was imagining as well. Of course we're not going to start writing text code! ;)
    (Of course some folks have lobbied for a scripting engine too.)
    But the inputs and outputs of the callable macro are conceptually similar to those in a c-code function, so I figured that the calling macro would have to configure which of its quickbuses would be assigned to which inputs of the macro too.
    I like your template idea, as it makes for more flexibility.

    Yeah, no doubt, that's why the whole world loves pasta!
    And yes, it's Herw's chandelier-sparkling structuring that starts to make the PF look like an actual extension of the standard library, and maybe usable by those of us who haven't been underground in the Reaktor (in hazmat suits!) as long as Herw has.
