Butch Vig Drums not in drums category

Love Butch Vig drums, but it's in the wrong category. Anyone any idea how to change this?

Looks like it category is set up as “Sampled Instrument” by default and changing the category would require modifications to the category database used by Komplete Kontrol. Unless you know what you are doing, things could potentially get “messed up”

I'm au fait with editing the database. But it isn't in there. Or I can't see it more like.

 

If it has a category.json in dist_database you can edit that easily but a lot of Kontakt libraries seem to have their category info kept in a different sql based database for some reason

 

First would need to know your OS... if Mac, can’t help but can provide the location if on win. The DB is an SQL Lite DB and would require a compatible editor to make any changes. All NI “Factory” instrument categories are defined in the db, aptly named “categories.db”
