Button malfunctions on Z2 (how to clean/repair?)

    The hard push-buttons on my Z2 have been acting up lately - notably the "REL/INTL", "SYNC", and "FX" buttons. The mixer suffered some water damage a few years ago, but has been operating more-or-less fine until recently. I'm trying to see if I can clean the buttons and/or contacts to see if that will remedy the problem (I've left it uncovered for long amounts of time, which I know is bad) before either trying to get it serviced (which seems to not be possible right now due to COVID) or breaking down and buying a new one.

    Has anyone cleaned the buttons/contacts before? If so, could you give me a brief primer on how to do that? I'm not very well-versed in cleaning electronics so any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Note: The faders, pots, and cue/performance pads all work just fine - it's specifically some of the hard plastic buttons.
